Belt Buckle Made with Dried Pressed Flowers--Nature Lover's Belt Buckle
So I stepped out of the box again and decided we needed a bit of wild flower love. I used genuine dried pressed flowers for this small garden of color and texture. They are covered first in a crystal clear glaze that becomes very hard when dry, Then I added texture and earthiness by dabbing a mixture of glam grout and the glaze, sparingly placing it along the rope style frame of the buckle. You might well be strolling thru my nana's garden. The colors are bright and beautiful, a tumble of flowers and leaves and stems that reflect mother nature. I added several layers of EZ clear glaze over the finished piece. I think it's cool. If you're a true nature's child you will too. Buckle has a hook and D ring to use with a snap belt up to 1 1/2 inches.
