Southwestern Western Native American Style Decor Wall Hanging or Shelf Sitter with Faux Turquoise Squash Blossom. A stunning faux turquoise squash blossom dominates this southwestern piece. I repurposed it from an actual necklace. I placed it against a die cut fancy scrolled frame that I textured with modeling paste and painted with copper and turquoise metallic paint. The background of the frame is metallic gold to enable the turquoise to really pop in color. I added a repurposed faux turquoise earring to the top, and a teal paper flower at the bottom. Turquoise howlite teardrop beads adorn each corner and are surrounded by copper stamped flowers and gold scrolled filigree stampings. The background is finished with textured paste painted desert sand. The lovely piece is built on a wood canvas and has a hanger attached. This will look fantastic on the wall or placed on a easel for table top.
