Victorian Style Shabby Decor, Shelf Sitter, Wall Decor, Embellished Plaque, Mixed Media Art. This beautiful piece will be a stunning addition to your Victorian, Shabby Chic or country French decor. Placed on a mantle, table, or hung on the wall it will definitely add a lushness of color and sparkle to any room. I made the birds from commercial grade plaster painted with chalk paint and metallic acrylics. I made many of the flowers from plaster, adding repurposed silk flowers and a large flower bouquet brooch of rhinestone flowers on top. The background is rice paper and a gold foiled die cut frame. The piece is edged by gold metallic braid and hollow metal filigrees in the corners that are embraced by resin flowers with rhinestone centers. A country French cameo bird piece surrounded by rhinestones is place at the bottom. The art was built on a wood plaque that can be hung on the wall or placed on a small easel. (not included)
